I was impressed with how the teenager Finn was so different from adult Finn. Ethan Hawke plays emotion like no one Ive ever seen. His eyes are so expressive! I thinks hes at his best when he plays a tortured soul!!!
I just saw Dead Poets Society again, and was once again amazed with Ethan Hawke's performance. Just see the scene where Robin Williams gets him up in front of the class and blindfolds him to get a poem out of him, that scene was amazing (by both), and the scene when it's his birthday and his father give him another desk set, and every scene he has after Neil kills himself is just perfect in facial expressions. He was also great in Before Sunrise/Sunset, and in Training Day, but Dead Poets Society I think is his best.
