I have spent the last few days downloading music videos online, mainly Marilyn Manson and Nirvana ones, and Coma White has been the only video to create a lasting impression on me. It probably has to do with the Christmas-like atmosphere in the video – city streets adorned with lights, flashing stars and crosses… Unlike other Marilyn Manson videos, this one can be safely viewed by just about anyone, due to the lack of gore or offensive material. This video is directed by Samuel Bayer and features well-known actors such as Rose McGowan, previous love interest of Marilyn Manson, and the deceased Matthew McGrory, best known for this role as the giant in the movie “Big Fish”. In between the actual story of the video, clips from the Marilyn Manson band singing on stage are shown. I don’t want to spoil the story of the video, so I will just say that it deals with the Kennedy assasination theme. Here are some screen caps which I feel can give you an idea of the atmosphere and feel of the video.

In my opinion, the Coma White video compliments the song awesomely and can also give you some food for thought with its symbolism and deeper meanings.

Marilen Masnon, marilun, Marlyn Manson, Marlin, Matthew Mc Grogry, Mc Gowem, Grory, Gory, Rosee Mcgowan, Mcgowen. Note that many people confuse the i’s and the y’s in Marilyn. For that reason, the most common misspelling is “Marylin”, Marylin Manson.
