What The Coral – In the Morning is about
A playful and entertaining song about new mornings.
Why to love The Coral – In the Morning
Because it’s a very cheerful and catchy song! The music with the psych effects gets stuck in your head and makes you energetic. When I heard the intro on the radio I knew I was going to like this song, because it’s pleasant to listen to from the beginning to the end. I also like the fact that the lyrics aren’t all lovey-dovey and happy-go-lucky, even though the song is a happy tune.
Why you might not like The Coral – In the Morning
If you’re not a fan of the funky “psychedelic” effects (not as bad as I’ve made it sound) or you think the lyrics below are weird, you might find this song boring.

The Coral – In the Morning Lyrics
Shut the bedroom window in the morning
Go to the shop, make plans to be leaving
In the morning…
Thought I was sleeping,
it was just a dream,
An alleycat chewing on dead leaves
In the morning…
Out of the dark and into the light
When the morning comes
I will be alright
When I leave I try not to wake her
Tiana toast to yesterday’s capers
In the morning….
She wrote my name on a red telephone box
When I got there she’d already rubbed it off
In the morning….
Out of the dark and into the light
When the morning comes I will be alright
And all this time I’ve watched it change
But it’s still the same
In the morning…
In the morning…
In the morning…
In the morning…
